Harold Harry 1997

Shown here in Fort Rupert, BC as one of the carvers carving a traditional war canoe for the 1997 Aboriginal Indigenous Games, Tribal Journey.

This canoe when finished was 44 feet long known as a munka style war canoe. The prow style was originally a Coast Salish style last used in the early 1800's. This is one of the most superior styles of canoe prows of its time with a very protective shield as it comes up straight out of the water.

Personal Loon Bowl (copyrighted image) Personal Loon Bowl (copyrighted image)
Carving of a loon bowl with a man's face as the lid of the bowl.
This is a personal carving and was a gift to my wife on one of her birthdays.

Personal Warrior's Paddle. I carved for the journey in 1997, Tribal Journey. This was the first war paddle ever paddled from my tribe in over 100 years on a war canoe journey.

So these are all very personal designs for me and a very personal paddle.

Mask carving in progress for a private collection.
